Museum K-Blocks & Oscarchapel (MKOK)

In the installations of MKOK, the living quarters of the soldiers through the centuries are shown in authentic boarding houses of the Cavalry Camp. Since spring 2003 there is also an exhibition over the history of the blocks. The accent is put on the period after WW II, because hundreds of political prisoners were kept there by the German occupier. Most of them were send to other big concentration camps abroad or were executed just outside Camp Beverlo. Some famous Flemish people were also imprisoned here, for instance Marc Sleen.

The future of this museum is also uncertain.
